Family Recipes Along the Way

For coffee and chocolate lovers this is an easy recipe. 1 box of Bakers semi-sweet chocolate, broken into squares 1/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk 1/4 cup brewed coffee Put all ingredients into a glass bowl and microwave on high for 2 min.  Stir until it is well blended and silky smooth Stir in 1/2 cup of chopped nuts. Put in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours.  Scoop out and roll into 1" balls and roll in ground coffee.  If you think the coffee is a bit much you can roll in crushed cookie crumbs, powdered sugar, nuts, or whatever else you like. 

1 brownie mix 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract Mix brownie mix according to directions. Pour into a 13" x 9" pan that has been sprayed with Pam. Mix peanut butter filling. Drop by spoonfulls onto brownie batter and then swirl with a butter knife. Bake according to brownie mix directions.

Stir until smooth as silk Add nuts. Chill for 2 hours Roll into 1”balls and roll balls in ground coffee, nuts, or crushed cookie crumbs.
